Water Quality Threats in Duxbury

The quality of our water sources — ground water, bogs, ponds, streams, marshes, estuaries, bays, and the ocean— are impacted by many complex factors.

Water quality is affected by local, regional and global factors including pollution levels, weather and climate change, tides, human activities — and human mistakes.

We are fortunate to have many residents, organizations, and stakeholders interested in learning more about water quality in Duxbury and who are taking steps to better understand the threats to water quality and what actions can be taken to mitigate the risks.
